AI Use Statement

Effective Date: October 2, 2026
Last Updated: October 15, 2026

FlashQofE LLC pairs an AI agent with a deterministic financial engine. This statement explains what AI does in the FlashQofE platform, what data it sees and what it cannot do.

What AI Does

AI is used for:

  • The Flash agent, which prepares routine work across an engagement and answers questions about it
  • Account classification suggestions, mapping a client's chart of accounts to standard categories
  • Document extraction, reading information from documents such as bank statement PDFs
  • Narrative drafting, preparing draft descriptions of findings and adjustments

What AI Does Not Do

  • AI does not calculate figures. Schedules such as trial balance tie-out, proof of cash, net working capital and the EBITDA bridge are calculated by deterministic code.
  • AI does not make final decisions. Classification suggestions, extracted figures and drafts are reviewed and confirmed by a user before they affect any figure. Deterministic rules take precedence over AI suggestions.
  • AI does not sign, approve or publish. Automated features cannot sign work, approve source changes, waive exceptions or publish results.

Model Provider and Data Handling

  • FlashQofE uses Anthropic's Claude models through Anthropic's commercial API.
  • Only the content needed for each task is sent, such as account names for classification or the pages of a document being extracted.
  • Under Anthropic's commercial terms, this content is not used to train models and is deleted within 30 days.
  • FlashQofE does not use customer data to train any AI model.

Accuracy and Review

Imports are tied to source totals before schedules run, failed tie-outs block dependent work, and every figure records its source and calculation. AI errors are caught by these checks and by reviewer confirmation rather than passing into deliverables. Customer firms remain responsible for reviewing outputs and for their professional conclusions.

If a Model Is Unavailable

The Platform's calculations, review, locking and exports do not depend on an AI model. If a model became unavailable, users would perform the affected steps themselves in the same workflow.

Connected AI Tools

If a customer connects its own AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude, to FlashQofE, those tools can read only locked, signed figures, and only when the customer turns the connection on.
